Chuck Blake is a Brooklyn-based startup founder and fractional CTO who builds AI systems and developer tools. He created GetMusic.fm, builds Glance and Recall Bridge, writes the newsletter In General, and makes electronic music as Corvoco.

I work with early-stage startups as a fractional CTO and technical advisor — AI integration, technical architecture, and engineering leadership. If you’re building something and need a technical partner who’s been through it, book an intro call or email me.

I’ve spent my career at startups — engineering, product, marketing, ops — building things from scratch and making them work. Most recently I was CTO and co-founder at LEA, where a 3-person team built document intelligence systems that process thousands of financial documents a month for $10B+ wealth management firms — cutting their manual data entry in half while document volume tripled in nine months.

Now I’m deep in AI. I run a multi-agent system with six AI agents across three model providers (Anthropic, Codex, Kimi) that handle coding, deployment, PR review, and project management autonomously. It’s not a demo — it’s production infrastructure I use every day, and I write about how it works.

What I’m building:

  • Glance — expectation monitoring for automated work: scheduled checks, output expectations, alerts, and remediation work items for humans or AI agents. Built in Rails, running in production.
  • Recall Bridge — a hosted AI memory layer that gives every AI tool you use access to one persistent, organized brain. Auto-classifies captures using GTD and PARA concepts. In development.
  • GetMusic and other music sites — tools that help independent artists promote their music on Bandcamp.

Outside of work I make electronic music as Corvoco and keep a running log of shows.
